Gaza, August 24 (QNA) – Two Palestinians succumbed to their wounds on Monday, while Israeli forces continued their artillery bombardment of areas east of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian man died from wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike on Sunday that targeted a camp for displaced people west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Another Palestinian man was martyred due to wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted an area in Gaza Port several days ago.
Israeli artillery also shelled farmland south of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In a related incident, three Palestinians, including a child, were martyred on Sunday, and dozens were wounded, some critically, in airstrikes and gunfire by the Israeli army targeting homes and camps for displaced people in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,420 martyrs and 174,369 wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023. (QNA)
