Damascus, April 04 (QNA) – The Syrian defense ministry reported that two soldiers were killed and several others injured on Saturday while transporting dismantled mines and unexploded ordnance in the al-Habit area of southern Idlib countryside.
The ministry noted that the incident occurred as military engineering units were carrying out their duties to transport mines and unexploded remnants of war after dismantling them.
On Friday, three children were killed and two others injured when a landmine, a remnant of war, exploded inside an unusable school in the same town. (QNA)
