Muscat, March 26 (QNA) – Two women have died after drowning in a water pool along a wadi in Oman’s northwestern province of Al Dhahirah Governorate.
According to the Oman National Committee for Emergency Management, the incident occurred when one woman attempted to rescue the other in the city of Ibri. Both bodies were later recovered.
The fatalities come days after authorities reported four deaths on Sunday due to heavy rains and flooding affecting the country, in line with severe weather conditions impacting the wider region. (QNA)
