Amman, Sept. 1 (Petra) – The U.S.-based International Association of Genocide Scholars said on Monday that 86 percent of its 500 members supported a resolution stating that Israel meets the legal criteria for committing genocide in Gaza.
According to Deutsche Welle’s report on the association, the resolution states that “Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza fulfill the legal definition of genocide as set out in Article Two of the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.”
