New York, June 23 (Petra) – U.S. stock markets posted strong gains on Monday, while oil prices saw a steep decline, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude dropping more than $6 to settle at $67.58 per barrel.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 375 points to close at 42,581. The tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 183 points to reach 19,631, while the S&P 500 rose by 57 points, ending the day at 6,025.
