New York, Oct. 7 (Petra) – Major U.S. stock indexes fell on Tuesday, while U.S. crude oil prices held steady.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 92 points to close at 46,603. The tech-heavy Nasdaq index fell 153 points to 22,788, while the S&P 500 index lost about 25 points to settle at 6,714.
Meanwhile, U.S. benchmark crude, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), was unchanged at $62.07 a barrel.
