Abu Dhabi, April 04QNA) – UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems intercepted 23 ballistic missiles a (nd 56 drones launched from Iran on Saturday.
In a statement, the Ministry said that since the start of the Iranian attacks, air defenses have dealt with 498 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 2,141 drones.
It added that the attacks resulted in the deaths of two UAE Armed Forces personnel while performing their national duty, in addition to a civilian contractor, as well as 10 civilian fatalities. A total of 217 people were injured, with wounds ranging from minor to moderate and severe. (QNA)
