UAE Strongly Condemns Iran’s Hostile Attack on Its Territory
Abu Dhabi, August 31 (QNA) – The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the hostile Iranian attack on the country using a drone that was intercepted by air defense systems over its territorial waters.
In a statement, UAE’s Foreign Ministry affirmed that these hostile attacks amount to a grave escalation, an unacceptable act of aggression, and a direct threat to the its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and stand at variance with the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The ministry stressed that the UAE won’t relent in the face of any threat to its security and sovereignty under any circumstances, and that it retains its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks to ensure the protection of its sovereignty, national security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors, in accordance with international law. 
It further underscored that this attack is unequivocally condemned and repudiated under all legal and humanitarian norms, stressing the importance of immediately halting these attacks and ensuring full compliance with the cessation of all hostilities.
The Ministry held Iran fully responsible for these assaults and their consequences. (QNA)
