Kyiv, July 23 (QNA) – Ukrainian authorities announced Thursday that one person was killed and 20 others were injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kherson, Ukraine.
The Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian forces carried out several strikes on Kherson using drones and artillery shelling, killing one person and injuring 20 others, as well as damaging several residential buildings, petrol stations and infrastructure facilities.
The Russia-Ukraine crisis has witnessed recent escalation, with both sides targeting oil facilities and vital infrastructure in each other’s countries. The two sides also issue near-daily statements and reports on military operations, including claims of downed drones and casualty figures.
