New York, Jan 27 (Petra) – The United Nations reiterated on Monday its opposition to the forcible displacement of Gaza’s residents, describing it as a form of ethnic cleansing.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated, “We have seen the clear opposition to this plan from Egypt, Jordan, and the Arab League,” emphasizing that the UN will, “of course, oppose any plan that leads to the forcible displacement of people or any form of ethnic cleansing.”
