Mafraq, Jan. 22 (Petra) – Al al-Bayt University Vice President Ahmed Alawneh and Noor Irfan bin Haji Zainal, head of a delegation from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University in Brunei, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing academic and research cooperation between the two institutions.
The memorandum seeks to establish and develop direct collaboration in the fields of scientific research, education, and training, in addition to facilitating the exchange of students and faculty members.
In a statement issued Thursday, the university said the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University delegation is visiting the Kingdom to hold scientific and academic discussions and to strengthen research cooperation with a number of academic and national institutions. The statement added that talks during the visit addressed areas of cooperation and mechanisms to advance academic and scientific collaboration between the two sides.
