Amman, Sept 15 (Petra) – United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said on Monday Israel bombed 10 buildings of the agency in Gaza City in the past four days, including seven schools and two clinics used as shelters for displaced Palestinians.
“Nowhere and no one is safe in Gaza City and its north,” where airstrikes are intensifying, forcing more Palestinians to flee to the unknown, Lazzarini said in a post on X.
“We had to stop healthcare in Al Shati’ Camp, the only center available north of Wadi Gaza, while our vital water and sanitation services are now working at just half capacity,” he said.
