New York, Aug 13 (Petra) – Major U.S. stock indices rose Wednesday, while West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell to $62.75 per barrel.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 463 points, or 1.04 percent, closing at 44,922 points. The Nasdaq, which focuses on heavy technology stocks, added 31 points to reach 21,713, while the S&P 500 rose 20 points to 6,466.
