New York, July 31 (QNA) – The main indices on the US Wall Street stock exchange closed higher at the end of trading today.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index closed up 124.60 points, or 1.70 percent, to 7440.75.
The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 679.24 points, or 2.76 percent, to 25,118.17 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 607.28 points, or 1.18 percent, to 52,201.42 points. (QNA)
