Madani, Aug. 6, 2026 (SUNA) – Wali of Al-Gezira State, Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, on Thursday received a delegation from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, led by Minister Mo’tasem Ahmed Saleh, in the presence of the state’s Minister of Social Welfare, Yasser Khidr Nassar. The Wali praised the ministry’s contributions and interventions in supporting the state through its various directorates, describing the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare as the first line of defense against poverty. For his part, Minister Mo’tasem Ahmed Saleh said the delegation’s visit aims to assess the challenges facing the state, identify its priority needs, and review the progress of work.
