Amman, June 25 (Petra) The World Food Programme (WFP) said on Wednesday it has delivered just 9,000 tons of food aid to the Gaza Strip since May 19 an amount it described as “less than the daily food requirement for every individual in the Strip.”
In a post on X, the WFP said it stands ready to scale up its operations in the besieged enclave but stressed the need for safe access and improved conditions on the ground to allow its teams to operate effectively.
