Amman, May 6 (Petra) – Yemen’s national carrier has suspended flights from Sana’a to Amman due to operational reassessment, Jordan’s Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) said on Tuesday.
Captain Haitham Misto, CARC Chief Commissioner, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that Yemenia, the only airline operating the Sana’a-Amman route, halted flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to evaluate operational conditions at Sana’a International Airport.
Misto noted that Aden International Airport remains operational, and Yemenia is likely to transport passengers overland from Sana’a to Aden before flying them to Amman.
