Khartoum, August 9, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Youth and Sports Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed on Sunday attended the opening of the fourth edition of the African School Football Championship for boys and girls, being held from August 9 to 12, 2026, at the Family Club. The Minister affirmed that school sports provide a foundation for discovering talents and developing an outstanding generation of athletes. He noted the Ministry’s commitment to supporting sports activities among students and young people in a way that contributes to building a healthy generation capable of serving the nation. “We believe that school sports are the true starting point for producing the champions of tomorrow, and we seek to provide an environment that enables our boys and girls to showcase their talents and represent Sudan with distinction,” Professor Ahmed said.BH/BH
