KHARTOUM, July 20, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Ahmed Adam Ahmed, participated on Sunday in the First International Conference on Psychological and Physical Rehabilitation for Survivors of Disasters and Wars, held virtually. The conference was organized by the Development Experts Academy for Training and Consultancy in partnership with the Arab Association of Sport Psychology and the Sudanese Association for Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The minister took part as a guest of honor alongside a number of specialists and experts. The conference was chaired by its Executive Director, Dr. Saleem Al-Kamali. During the event, Prof. Ahmed reaffirmed the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ commitment to supporting scientific initiatives and specialized programs for the psychological and physical rehabilitation of survivors of wars and disasters. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with academic and professional institutions to help build community resilience and support recovery and reconstruction efforts.BH/BH
