Amman, Aug 19 (Petra) – The Youth and Sports Parliamentary Committee said Tuesday that the reactivation of the National Military Service Programme reflects the high royal vision and underscores His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II’s commitment to empowering Jordanian youth and shaping their characters with discipline and responsibility.
In a statement, the committee said the initiative reinforces values of belonging and teamwork while promoting a spirit of sportsmanship among young people. It stressed its full support for the Crown Prince’s initiatives and the state’s efforts to invest in the capabilities of the new generation as a cornerstone in building Jordan’s future.
The committee added that it will continue to monitor all initiatives and programs serving the youth and sports sectors, noting that national service will help cultivate a conscious generation capable of facing challenges and actively participating in the country’s development.
