Amman, April 12 (Petra) – Zain Jordan has renewed, or the 15th consecutive year, its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, one of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s initiatives.
According to a company statement issued Sunday, this year, Zain Jordan will provide scholarships to 15 young men and women, with 40% male and 60% female beneficiaries, bringing the total number of scholarships offered since 2011 to 170 scholarships.
The company added that scholarships cover a “wide” range of academic fields that are in demand in the labor market, including medicine, dentistry, engineering, science, technology, and mathematics.
Notably, the employment rate among graduates has reached 65% to date, further highlighting the impact of these scholarships in empowering youth and enhancing their employability.
