Mr. Buhejji has held many senior positions since joining the Ministry of Information Affairs over the past ten years, where he started as Head of the Marketing Department at the Information Affairs Authority, and was appointed Director of the Communication and Marketing Department at the Ministry of Information Affairs in 2013. He also held the position of Director of the Human and Financial Resources Department in 2017 AD until he was appointed Director General of the Bahrain News Agency in March 2019 AD. Mr. Buhijji worked in the banking sector before joining the public sector.
He participated in many summits and official visits and represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in many regional and international meetings and forums.
Qualifications
He holds a master’s degree in strategic and administrative studies from the Royal College of Command, Staff and National Defense in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from the Catholic University of America, USA.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Asterreyer University, USA.
He holds an Associate Diploma in Banking and Finance from the University of Bahrain.
