Amman, Jan. 30 (Petra) -Ministry of Education on Thursday announced the complementary results of the General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for the year 2024.
In a statement, the ministry said a total of 83,223 test takers registered for the complementary session, of whom 70,864 students aimed to complete the pass requirements and 12,359 others sought to raise their overall average.
The ministry said 72,630 students attended the exam and 41,957 out of the total number secured the minimum pass requirements, with a general percentage of 57.8%.
On results, 63,499 students sat exams of the academic stream, of whom 36,034 passed at 56.7%, while 9,131 applicants engaged in the vocational stream, of whom 5,923 passed at 64.9%.
