The products seized included detergents and cosmetics, electrical items such as plugs and connectors, mixers and water valves, clothing and footwear, children’s toys, vehicle oils and spare parts, JSMO Director General Abeer Al-Zuhair said Saturday.

She said the organization carried out 2,350 inspection tours of shops, warehouses and factories across the Kingdom last year, covering 7,650 establishments, during which 8,550 products were checked.

Al-Zuheir also stressed that elevators in residential buildings and commercial facilities meet the organization’s safety requirements, adding that 3,750 elevators were checked last year.
