
Salt, Feb. 5 (Petra) — Balqa Applied University is expanding its international academic partnerships through discussions with the Fulbright Program to enhance educational programs and align them with global standards.
University President Ahmed Fakhri Ajlouni met with Cindy Baker, a Fulbright representative, to explore avenues for academic cooperation. Baker emphasized that the partnership will improve education quality and equip students with essential skills for the global job market. She also commended the university’s efforts in modernizing its academic programs to meet international accreditation standards.
Ajlouni highlighted the collaboration as a strategic step in reinforcing the university’s position as a leading academic institution in the region. He underscored the importance of international partnerships in advancing research and academic excellence.
As part of the initiative, Baker will conduct a 40-day working visit to Prince Abdullah Bin Ghazi Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, where she will contribute to curriculum development and accreditation readiness.
The initiative aims to integrate global best practices into the university’s academic framework, ensuring students are well-prepared for international career opportunities.
