ACC allocates JD10mln interest-free loans to livestock sector in 2025

Amman, Feb. 5 (Petra) -Board of Directors of Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC), headed by Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat, decided to allocate an amount of JD10 million under its lending plan for the current year as interest-free loans to Jordan’s livestock breeders.

In an ACC statement Wednesday, the decision aims to contribute to enabling beneficiaries to purchase and secure the necessary fodder amid the Kingdom’s drought conditions and its impact on natural pastures.

The Board also decided to include various agricultural activities in the areas affiliated with Wadi Araba Development Company that target the region’s people, associations, or agricultural companies, which enable them to benefit from obtaining the ACC’s loan services.

The statement noted these areas are targeted for development processes, which would make them “attractive” to investment projects that benefit the region’s people and achieve their stability.

The drive would lead to the “desired sustainable” development, in line Economic Modernization Vision and the National Plan for Sustainable Agriculture.
