Amman, Feb. 7 (Petra)– Friday’s weather is predicted to be extremely cold and partly cloudy in most places, with some light rain showers predicted in the western portions of the Kingdom and a few isolated areas in the eastern Badia regions. The winds will be northwesterly, moderately fast, and occasionally strong.
In its report, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warns of the danger of low horizontal visibility in the morning due to fog formation, particularly over plains and mountainous heights, and the danger of frost formation in the morning over high mountainous heights, which could cause vehicles to slip when driving on wet roads.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 8 degrees Celsius and a low of 1 degree at night.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 20 degrees during the day, sliding to 10 degrees at night.
