Amman, Feb. 7 (Petra)– His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call on Friday from Iraq President Abdul Latif Rashid, which covered the latest regional developments.
His Majesty stressed the importance of stepping up Arab efforts to support Palestinians in gaining their full legitimate rights, reiterating Jordan’s rejection of any attempts to annex land and forcibly displace Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
The King urged maintaining the Gaza ceasefire, increasing aid, and putting a stop to escalation in the West Bank.
The call also covered the need to maintain coordination between the two countries amid regional developments.
