Moscow, February 11 (Petra) — The Russian Foreign Ministry reiterated its support for resolving the Middle East conflict through establishing an independent Palestinian state.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told journalists on Tuesday: “Moscow supports any efforts aimed at resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and stabilising the Middle East through the creation of an independent Palestinian state.”
He added that “a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip could pave the way for initiating the negotiation process.”
