Amman, Feb. 11 (Petra) – President of the Professional Associations Council and Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), Ali Abu Nuqta met Tuesday with Hussein Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), to follow up on the delivery of donations collected by engineers and agricultural companies in support of Gaza.
During the meeting, Abu Nuqta praised JHCO’s pivotal role in assisting Palestinians, highlighting its humanitarian efforts in alleviating the hardships of war and strengthening their resilience. He noted that the AEA is coordinating with JHCO to facilitate the transfer of donations, which were gathered during a Ramadan charity iftar by agricultural engineers, agricultural companies, and the Beekeepers Association. These donations include tents and essential shelter supplies.
Shibli assured that JHCO is expediting the delivery of aid to the most affected areas in Gaza in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Arab Army. He acknowledged that delays in transporting some supplies are due to external procedural challenges.
He reaffirmed JHCO’s commitment to providing humanitarian aid through a structured approach that prioritizes urgent needs in the besieged enclave.
