Amman, Feb. 13 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, met Thursday with Singapore’s Senior Minister of State at the Ministries of Defence and Manpower, Zaqy Mohamad, and his accompanying delegation to discuss strengthening bilateral military cooperation.
Talks focused on enhancing joint coordination between the armed forces of both countries and supporting humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing challenges.
Mohamad commended Jordan’s humanitarian role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in providing aid to Gaza and contributing to regional security and stability.
The Jordan Armed Forces received two humanitarian aid planes from Singapore on Wednesday, designated for Gaza relief efforts.
