Amman, Feb. 16 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs on Sunday strongly condemned a knife attack in Villach, Austria, which left one person dead and injured several others.
In a statement, the ministry’s spokesman Sufian Qudah expressed Jordan’s solidarity with Austria in “this vicious incident”, and emphasized the Kingdom’s rejection of all acts of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability.
Qudah extended condolences to the Austrian government and people and the family of the deceased, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
