Tunis, Feb. 16 (Petra) – Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya met with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Iraqi Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, in Tunis on Sunday.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, which concluded Sunday in Tunisia. Discussions focused on enhancing security cooperation and coordinating efforts on mutual concerns.

Faraya and his counterparts reviewed key security challenges facing the region and explored effective strategies to address them. They also discussed mechanisms for boosting security cooperation and exchanging expertise and intelligence among Arab nations to strengthen regional security and stability.

These discussions align with ongoing Arab efforts to enhance security coordination, address regional challenges, and reinforce peace and stability across the region.
