Zarqa, Feb 17 (Petra) – The Zarqa Chamber of Commerce has begun decorating key streets across the city in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan shopping season, installing illuminated ornaments at major intersections, including King Hussein Street (Al-Saada) and King Abdullah Street (the central business district), as well as other high-traffic commercial areas.

Hussein Shreim, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors, said in a statement that the initiative is part of the private sector’s contribution to social service efforts. He noted that the chamber annually decorates the streets to mark the holy month, a move that positively impacts commercial activity.

He added that past initiatives have helped create a festive atmosphere and boosted business activity. The chamber aims to enhance the shopping experience by beautifying the commercial district, attracting more visitors, and stimulating economic activity, particularly as demand surges during Ramadan.
