Amman, Feb. 18 (Petra) — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) has signed a cooperation agreement with China First Highway Engineering Company (CFHEC), facilitated by the Chinese Embassy in Jordan, to implement humanitarian projects in Gaza. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to provide urgent relief to those affected by the crisis.
The agreement, announced by the JHCO, aims to enhance collaboration between the two organizations through the execution of humanitarian projects that will alleviate the hardships faced by Gaza’s vulnerable families. The aid will focus on the distribution of essential food supplies to meet the basic needs of the population.
Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary General of the JHCO, expressed appreciation for China’s continuous support and humanitarian initiatives, noting that the partnership reflects the strong humanitarian ties between Jordan and China.
Chinese Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Chen Shuangdong, who attended the dispatch ceremony for the aid convoys, reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts and collaborating with key organizations to provide essential assistance to Gaza. He commended the JHCO for its effective coordination and management of relief efforts.
