OIC’s UNA, Petra’s Directors-General hold meeting in Riyadh on developing media work

Riyadh, Feb 19 (Petra) – Director-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) News Agencies (UNA), News Agencies (UNA), met with Director-General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Fayrouz Mubaidin, on the sidelines of the Saudi Media Forum, which kicked off in Riyadh on Wednesday and is set to run until Feb. 21

During the meeting, Al-Yami presented a detailed overview of the UNA’s upcoming plans, programs, and activities.

He emphasized that these initiatives aim to enhance and develop media work in OIC member states, promote news exchange, and foster media cooperation among them.

For her part, Mubaidin affirmed that the programs and plans discussed during the meeting bring great hope for the future of media and aim to elevate professional performance and enhance the quality of news content.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between UNA and Petra in various fields, with a special focus on news exchange and media training.

They also highlighted the importance of sharing experiences and information to improve the professional performance of media personnel and enhance the quality of the news content delivered.
