Moscow, Feb 19 (Petra) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russia is ready to resume negotiations for a political resolution to the military conflict in Ukraine, emphasizing the need for talks between the two countries on nuclear arms control.
Speaking at a press conference, Putin stated, “Moscow prioritizes resolving the situation in Ukraine. The crisis cannot be settled without enhancing the level of trust between Russia and the United States. At the same time, we do not rule out discussions with European nations on the matter.”
