New York, February 22 (Petra) — Jordan and the Republic of Burundi signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations to strengthen friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and institutionalise joint cooperation in political, economic, social, cultural and scientific scopes.
The statement was signed on behalf of the two countries’ governments by the Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Mahmoud Hamoud and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Burundi, Ambassador Zephyrin Maniratanga, at the headquarters of the Jordanian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
