Amman, Feb. 23 (Petra) – Director General of the Jordan Museum, Ihab Amarin, on Sunday met with Chairman of Oman’s Imam Jabir Bin Zaid Waqf Foundation (JBZF), Sheikh Khalil bin Ahmed bin Hamad Khalili, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Amarin expressed the museum’s “readiness” to cooperate with the Omani side, which is working to sign a memorandum of cooperation (MoU) with Oman’s National Museum.
Amarin referred to the possibility of “institutionalizing” cooperation with the JBZF by preparing a joint MoU.
Meanwhile, Khalili expressed happiness on checking on Jordan Museum’s experience as a “distinguished” model in the context of the JBZF’s plan to establish a museum to showacse the foundation’s collections.
