Amman, Feb 23 (Petra) — The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs said Sunday it is following up on the murders of a Jordanian and an Arab national in the American state of Texas.
Spokesman Sufian Qudah said the Jordanian Embassy in Washington is following up with security authorities in Texas on the results of investigations to determine the causes of the crime, pursue the perpetrator and hand him over to the judiciary.
Qudah said the ministry’s Operations Center is in contact with the Jordanian’s family, and that the Washington embassy began official procedures to transfer the body of the Jordanian home in coordination with his family after investigations are completed.
He expressed his heart-felt condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.
