Amman, Feb 23 (Petra) – Minister of Social Development Wafa’ Bani Mustafa affirmed that the ministry continues to support the efforts of the charitable sector to address the needs of vulnerable families and provide assistance.

This statement was made during her patronage of the annual ceremony organized by the Al-Gharaa Charitable Organization on Sunday evening, attended by the Islamic scholar Mohammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi and members of the society’s general assembly.

During the event, Bani Mustafa praised the organization’s commendable services for its target groups, highlighting the essential role of the voluntary sector as a supportive arm for the ministry. She emphasized the ministry’s goal of empowering associations to improve their programs and achieve their objectives, which ultimately benefits local communities.

On his part, the president of the organization, Hassan Safadi, emphasized the important role of charitable organizations in reaching target groups and expressed gratitude for the ministry’s support of the social volunteer sector, as well as the partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
