Amman, May 6 (Petra) – Civil Defense Department (CDD) at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) responded to 1,447 different incidents over the past 24 hours, including 1,280 emergency cases, as well as 118 and 49 rescue and 49 firefighting incidents, respectively.
In a statement Tuesday, the CDD said the average response time for emergency cases stood at 7:33 minutes, while the response period for rescue and firefighting incidents reached 7:34 and 7:32 minutes, in a row.
Affirming its “readiness” to handle various incidents, the CDD called on citizens to follow public safety guidelines and contact the unified emergency number (911).
