Gaza, May 6 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Tuesday that 48 people were killed and 142 others injured in the past 24 hours due to continued Israeli military attacks.
In its daily update, the Ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to the ongoing hostilities.
The Ministry confirmed that the overall death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has reached 52,615, with 118,752 injured. Since the resumption of military operations on March 18, 2,507 people have been killed and 6,711 wounded.
