Ramallah, May 7 (Petra) – An Israeli soldier was injured on Wednesday in a car-ramming and stabbing attack near Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to Israeli media.
The Israeli army confirmed that a Palestinian man was killed after carrying out the attack at the Al-Fahs junction, the southern entrance to Hebron. The incident reportedly involved both a vehicular assault and a stabbing.
Images published by Israeli outlets showed the Palestinian attacker bleeding on the ground, left unattended by Israeli soldiers until he succumbed to his injuries.
A video circulating on social media shows a vehicle turning right at the junction, followed by the sound of gunfire. Israeli forces quickly sealed off the area, erecting checkpoints and closing roads leading to southern Hebron with metal gates.
