Gaza, May 7 (Petra) – The international humanitarian organization World Central Kitchen (WCK) announced on Wednesday that it has ceased all relief operations in the Gaza Strip due to a lack of food supplies and cooking fuel.
In a statement, WCK said it had delivered more than 130 million meals and distributed approximately 26 million loaves of bread over the past 18 months, but it can no longer sustain this critical aid under current conditions.
The organization added that its aid trucks, including those carrying fuel needed to operate field kitchens, have been stuck at the border since early March.
