Gaza Strip, July 26 (Petra) — Hospitals across the Gaza Strip received 57 dead and 512 injured people in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll from Israel’s aggression to 59,733 and the total number of injuries to 144,477, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Saturday.
Many of the victims were still under the rubble of buildings targeted by Israeli bombing and on roads, it said in its latest update of casualties from Israel’s ongoing war which began on October 7, 2023.
Among the latest casualties were 29 who were fatally shot and 165 injured while waiting for food aid at distribution sites, raising the total number of aid victims to 1,121 dead and more than 7,485 injured, it said.
