Amman, July 30 (Petra) – The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Wednesday announced that a total of 16,671 active installment and rescheduling agreements have been concluded with indebted businesses, amounting to JD720 million.
In a statement, the SSC renewed its call for all indebted businesses that have not yet initiated installment payments to take advantage of the Board of Directors’ decision to extend the zero-percent interest rate offer. The extension is valid until the end of this year for most sectors and until the end of June next year for businesses operating in the tourism sector.
The SSC also noted that businesses with existing installment or rescheduling agreements are eligible to benefit from the interest exemption by submitting a rescheduling request in accordance with the Corporation’s established procedures.
