Amman, August 24 (Petra) – Minister of Education Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh on Sunday received the Iraqi Ambassador to Amman, Omar Barzanji.
During the meeting, Mahafzeh and Barzanji discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields, especially in education domain.
The two sides also went over relations in the higher education field and joint coordination for admission of Iraqi students in Jordanian universities.
Talking at the meeting, Mahafzeh stressed the ministry’s “commitment” to providing educational services to Iraqi students at the same level as their Jordanian counterparts, whether in public or private schools, or Jordanian universities.
Barzanji, in turn, praised hospitality level and good treatment provided for Iraqis in Jordan, noting the Kingdom’s “distinguished” educational services extended to members of the Iraqi community in various fields.
