5 Nov (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading
session at 5,565.87 points, registering a drop of 50.1 points, equivalent to 0.89
percent, from its previous close of 5,616.02 points.
Trading
activity witnessed a decline, with total market turnover reaching RO 25,692,878,
representing a decrease of 21.3 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 32,632,473.
According
to the official market report released by MSX, overall market capitalization
increased by 0.297 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately
RO 31.35 billion.
Non-Omani
investor purchases totaled RO 1,726,000, accounting for 6.72 percent of total
market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 2,663,000, representing 10.37
percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign
investment of RO 937,000, equivalent to a 3.65 percent decline in foreign net
investment activity.
