Aqaba, Dec. 3 (Petra) — The Dutch Ambassador to Jordan, Stella Kloth, paid a visit to Aqaba Port Marine Services Company (APMSCO), regarded as the oldest Dutch maritime investment operating in Aqaba and a longstanding partner in the city’s marine sector.
During the visit, the company’s General Manager, Frederik Rutgers, briefed the ambassador on the company’s evolution over the decades, from its early beginnings to its current advanced operations, and outlined the key role it plays in supporting and strengthening Aqaba’s maritime system.
Rutgers emphasized that the company is considered one of the world’s major players in marine services, serving as a cornerstone in Jordan’s maritime supply chain by ensuring smooth port operations and vessel traffic, and contributing significantly to enhancing Aqaba’s regional competitiveness.
